National Treasure : Our Younger Generation

What is the most valuable asset of a country? Is it the natural resources, the fuel reserves, the gold, the currency, the land or its various institutions and agencies?

When all of the above things cease to exist or become obsolete what is there left for a country to fall back on?

People might have different views on this. Some people might say its the military resources, some might say it is the foreign allies and some might say that its technology and invention.

I think the youths are the most valuable asset a country has. Here are some reasons why a country should look at its younger generation with more respect, love, care and systematic planning for educating, training and empowering its youths.

1. The country exist not for the past but for the future. All the struggles of today has their meaning and values  because of what they can potentially translate into in the future.

2. The continuity of all that is good in a country depends on the dedication and loyalty of the younger generation.

3. The solutions to the challenges in the future will be in the hands of the younger generation.

4. When disasters happen, when crisis arise, the strength, energy and contribution of the younger generation will be needed to rebuild the country and to re patch its "visions".

5. The management, safeguarding, sharing, distribution, expansion, investment and etc. of all resources in the future depends on the capabilities of the current younger generation.

6. The youths of today are the next generation of weavers in forming a fabric of society that would continue to exist in peace and harmony.
